Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get on and off the floats?
You’ll be gently supported onto the floats by two trained staff members, who will guide you into a safe and comfortable position without getting wet or falling into the pool. At the end of the session, you’ll be assisted out of the water in the same calm and secure way. The whole process is simple, smooth, and designed to help you feel fully at ease.

Can I still attend if I can’t swim?
Yes, non-swimmers are welcome! If you’re unable to swim, we’ll carry out a simple risk assessment and place you in the shallow end of the pool. You’ll be closely supported and monitored throughout to ensure your safety and comfort at all times.

If I have a health condition, can I still attend?
Yes, in many cases you can. Everyone is required to complete a health waiver and risk assessment before the event. If your condition is compatible with our safety guidelines, you’re very welcome to join. We’ll always prioritise your wellbeing and let you know if any adjustments are needed.

Can I attend if I’m pregnant?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently allow attendance during pregnancy. While some sound practitioners do, we believe there isn’t enough clear evidence to confirm it’s completely safe—particularly when it comes to getting in and out of the pool and lying on your back for extended periods. We prefer to err on the side of caution to ensure both you and your baby remain safe. We’d be delighted to welcome you to a session once your little one has arrived!

What if I need the bathroom during the session?
Our sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes. If you need the bathroom—or any assistance—at any point, one of our trained staff members in the pool will be there to help you out safely and discreetly. You’re always supported throughout the experience.

Can I still attend if I can’t swim?
Yes, you can. As part of our safety process, all participants complete a simple risk assessment before the session. If you’re unable to swim or not a confident swimmer, you’ll be placed in the shallow end and closely supported by our trained staff throughout. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities.

What happens during the sessions?
Each session begins with a gentle mindfulness meditation to help you settle into your float and relax. Then, the sound bath begins—an immersive experience using a blend of crystal and Tibetan bowls, drums, bells, chimes, and other beautiful instruments to create a calming soundscape that supports deep rest and healing.

Toward the end, a soft meditation will ease you back into awareness. You’ll then have the option to gently exit the pool or enjoy a quick dip if you wish.

What do I need to bring?
Just bring and wear your swimwear if you want to have a dip afterward, a towel to dry off, and some water to stay hydrated. If you don’t want to dip afterwards wear comfortable clothing that you’d like to relax in.  If you want to get extra cozy while floating, feel free to bring a blanket and an eye mask too!

Are the floats safe? Do they ever deflate?
Yes, the floats are safe. Each one is checked by our team before and during the session, and our staff are always on hand in the pool to keep an eye on things. While we can’t promise a float will never deflate, it’s extremely rare—and if anything did happen, we’d act quickly to keep you safe and comfortable.

Can I make a group booking?
Absolutely! We welcome group bookings and also offer private sessions. Just drop us an email with your ideas or questions—we’d love to create something special for you and your group.

What if I snore?
Please don't worry about this. Snoring is natural and happens way more than you think!
The sound bowls and pool sounds will take over any noises so you can relax deeply without having to worry, and our staff members in the pool can always give you a gentle nudge if needed.

What if I fall asleep?
That’s totally okay—and very common! Many people drift off during the session. Our trained staff are always monitoring, so you’ll be safely supported the entire time. All you need to do is relax and let go—we’ve got you.
